Technical and Board Certification

Our Consulting Neurologists are held to the highest of standards by our Chief Medical Officer who is a Board Certified Neurologist and a Cardiologist.  All of our Consulting Neurologists are either Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology (or other relevant clinical areas) and Clinical Neurophysiology.

All Sentient surgical neurophysiologists a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a health science related field; a two-year degree in Applied Science or a certificate from an accredited technology school is the minimum requirements for all Sentient Neurovascular technologists.  

 To ensure clinical competency, a detailed checklist has been developed by our staff in conjunction with ASET and is maintained on every surgical neurophysiologist.  Sentient also requires all surgical neurophysiologist to be Joint Commission compliant and to pass the following tests in support of our customer’s high standards:

  • Annual CPR and TB test
  • Age specific competency tests
  • Additional mandatory programs such as safety and infection control
