Intraoperative Monitoring

Intraoperative monitoring continuously reviews electrophysiological signals generated by peripheral or central neural structures. There is a time delay between electrophysiological markers of neural compromise and subsequent functional impairment. Intraoperative monitoring may reduce clinical risk, and may improve outcomes by alerting the surgical team allowing intervention with potential cost savings benefits post-operationally.

Our clinical staff of registered neurotechnologists and board certified supervising physicians has performed thousands of diagnostic procedures. Our laboratories are recognized and certified as Independent Diagnostic Testing Facilities.  As a mobile IDTF service, we can provide expert service to your patient in your facility at your convenience.

  • TCD – Transcranial Doppler Ultrasonography:
    Real time functional evaluation of CVA/TIA through the intracranial arteries.
     
  • Carotid Duplex – Carotid Artery Ultrasonography:
    Real time evaluation of CVA/TIA via extracranial vasculature.
  • EEG – Short and Long Term:
    Evaluates changes in sensorium and altered levels of consciousness.
